At djamee.ai, privacy isn't an afterthought—it's our foundation. We've architected our Design Canvas to operate entirely in your browser, ensuring your creative work remains yours and yours alone. We don't collect, store, or transmit your images. Period.

What We DON'T Collect

  • Your Images: All image processing happens locally in your browser. We never see, store, or have access to your designs.
  • Personal Information: No email addresses, names, or contact details are required to use the app.
  • Browsing Activity: We don't track your clicks, mouse movements, or time spent on the canvas.
  • Device Information: No fingerprinting, no IP logging, no device identifiers.
  • Cookies: We use only essential localStorage to save your access code for convenience. No tracking cookies.

What We DO Collect (Minimal Data)

To provide our service, we store only the absolute minimum:

  • Access Codes: Unique license keys (e.g., DJAM-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX) linked to your purchase.
  • Payment Metadata: Stripe transaction IDs for refund/support purposes (stored by Stripe, not us).
  • Usage Statistics: Anonymous export counts (no user identification) for analytics.

How Our Privacy-First Architecture Works

1. Client-Side Processing: When you upload an image, it's loaded directly into your browser's memory using the FileReader API. The image never leaves your device.

2. Canvas Rendering: All design operations (resizing, rotation, text overlay) are performed using HTML5 Canvas in your browser.

3. Export: When you export, the final image is generated locally and downloaded directly to your device. No server upload.

4. Access Codes: After payment, you receive a code stored in your browser's localStorage. This allows offline verification without server calls.

Third-Party Services

We use the following trusted services:

  • Stripe: Payment processing. Stripe may collect billing information per their Privacy Policy.
  • Google Fonts: Font delivery via CDN. Google may log font requests per their Privacy Policy.

Data Retention

Access codes are retained indefinitely for lifetime purchases and until expiration for monthly subscriptions. You can request deletion of your access code by contacting [email protected].

Your Rights

Under GDPR, CCPA, and other privacy laws, you have the right to:

  • Request access to any data we store about you (spoiler: it's just your access code)
  • Request deletion of your access code
  • Opt out of any future data collection (already minimal)
